1.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State], United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in [State], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. - Security Best Practices Content: Educational articles, tutorials, and guides about cybersecurity topics
- Interactive Tools: Quizzes, assessments, and other interactive educational resources
2.2 Informational and Diagnostic Purpose Only
All assessments, reports, scores, and information provided through MySecurity Scores are provided strictly for informational and educational purposes only. You understand and acknowledge that:
- NOT Professional Advice: The Service does not constitute professional security advice, legal advice, compliance certification, or professional security assessment services. For critical security decisions affecting your business, you should engage with certified security professionals.
- NOT a Certification: A score or report from MySecurity Scores is not a formal certification, compliance attestation, or professional assessment. It cannot be used in place of professional security audits or compliance certifications.
- NOT a Guarantee: The Service does not guarantee that your organization is secure, compliant, or protected from cyber attacks. Security assessment is an ongoing process, not a one-time evaluation.
- Limited Scope: Our assessments evaluate only publicly accessible information and configurations. They do not include penetration testing, code review, internal network scanning, or evaluation of private infrastructure.
- Point-in-Time Assessment: Reports reflect the state of your systems at the time of the scan only. New vulnerabilities may emerge immediately after scanning.
2.3 User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Your Responsibility: You are solely and entirely responsible for all actions, decisions, and outcomes resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on its contents. MySecurity Scores is not responsible for any consequences of your actions.
- Professional Consultation: Before implementing significant security changes or relying on the Service for important compliance decisions, you should consult with qualified security professionals, compliance experts, or legal counsel.
- Your Networks and Systems: You are solely responsible for securing your own infrastructure, systems, applications, and data. The Service provides guidance, but implementation and security are your responsibility.
- Authorization: You warrant that you have the authority to submit domains, websites, and systems for assessment, and that the owner/operator has authorized such assessment.
2.4 Accuracy and Availability Disclaimers
While we strive to provide accurate, helpful, and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the following:
- Accuracy: While we aim for high accuracy in our assessments and content, we do not warrant that the Service will be completely accurate, error-free, or comprehensive. Some vulnerabilities may not be detected, and false positives may occur.
- Availability: The Service may be subject to downtime, maintenance, or interruption. We do not warrant continuous availability.
- Completeness: The Service may not identify all security issues, vulnerabilities, or compliance gaps. Absence of a finding does not mean an issue does not exist.
- Timeliness: Security information and vulnerability data, while regularly updated, may not reflect the absolute latest threats and CVEs.
- Suitability: While we provide general guidance, the Service may not be suitable for your specific circumstances, industry, organization size, or regulatory requirements.
2.5 AS-IS Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “AS-IS” and “AS-AVAILABLE” basis. MySecurity Scores makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or completeness.
